i dropped into a semi-urban whinch session up at sandgate this arvo, it's the second time i've seen it and it's a pretty rad deviation of wake/wakeskating and seems to work pretty well too.. apart from the wake bit haha. I've never done either so dont hate.. I only got to shoot their last 4 runs but i'm definitely gonna tee up a shoot the next time they do, hopefully there will be a box and kicker. Definitely some cool shit! enjoy

port of brisbane security! and when ppl apologise for not posting enough on their blog. I admit, i have done it once or twice in the past but never again, it's just one of those things...

but back to port security! they, along with the po, deleted photos off my camera last night as apparently they were breaches in security for the Mobil refinery hah... the port seccy guy was a major douche and took himself way too seriously but thankfully the cop was more chilled and let me keep photos from other stuff around the port, he even let me go with a faulty break light..

onto business, it was a pretty quick shoot and i only took a handful of shots but here's what i got, almost all of them happen to be portrait haha..

windows is my bitch but microsoft is still a slut

it's been a while since i've been on here having a rant and its been boiling up inside me, for a week or two, until right now, thankgod... anyway, the reason for my blag-slackness is because microsoft (yes, i am uncool and out of the hip design cat's loop due to my lack of macbook) decided that, after a lifetime of windows piracy, it was time for me to finally give them some coin. After 4 days of being completely locked out i was scoping out the registration page thing when i saw a link to a microsoft website which ultimately let me get back to fiending on effbee.. I then realised while trying to upload a photo onto fb that, while using the crappy original photo uploader, it gave me full access to my hardrive- which then let me open and move whatever i wanted!! free windows for me and all i miss out on is a start bar and a desktop.... but the timing couldn't have been much worse as i had to sit on a set of photos that i would've liked to have gotten off asap, i finally delivered them tonight, blerg, one week after the event. I've only thrown a few shots, from the afformentioned shoot, onto this entry as im still trying to sort out 2 weeks worth of random, random shit.. heart

was pretty good.. we saw a lot less music than i was expecting/hoped but looking back I don't really have any regrets. Except that my gopro wouldn't start so i didn't have a camera inside the grounds. Here's a few from the whole bunch i loaded up on Facecool.

I got to shoot another post on the weeked and I got payed! which i'm pretty fkn happy about, the shots came out alright but the light was pretty shitty.. and the DJ didn't realise u have to turn the laser to 'go' mode for it to work.. i've got lots of shots lined up for here from splendour, maybe some from the post and plenty of random shit but i have to resize them all first so expect them later tonight or tomorrow as i got it off :)

To anyone that shoots out there and you're pretty keen, if you don't have a proper flash you're missing out so bad.. fuck lenses and fancy bodies- light is what makes the photo, every photo and having a mini hand-held sun is pretty fkn win.. except for when u get strobe heavy and give someone a seizure, sorry Tom.
