Found this place a while ago while foraging for hobos. This will be a 2 part affair as this time i did not have the required harness or ropes to scale to the upstairs level- lets hope the battlements are strong enough to support my weight as the floor seems particularly painful.

a few months ago, may in fact! tom and i weighed many options and, unsurprisingly, we opted for supreme chills at this house. Covering smile bringing avenues such as last blade 2, comfy clothes, comfy lair, steak, dubspress and general smile times. Luckily my late arrival left enough time for tom's greatly awaited package of vinyl bliss to make it's presence felt on tom's bristly doormat. I didn't shoot much of the morning (as it was consumed mostly buy lb2) and my camera ran out of battery pretty fast so in the end all i only really shot was our midday swim with tom's dog Gemma. Needles to say, smiles ensued! and i did not break a camera, surely worthy of victory stance.

so only 3 ish months later i've finally sorted out my shit and pieced this thing together with little semblance to a post, apart from the photos; which i hope you enjoy.

sorry if i've already posted some of these.

and it was soon after this, whilst consuming steak, i realized my shutter had locked due to tiredness :/

Goodtime Surf and Sail

It seems that there is a desire to create and potentially forge many smiles through a blog relating to my place of employment. It'll be relating to anything shop related; the crew, the gear, the shop and a combination of two and or three of the previously mentioned aspects. Work will start at some stage when i have spare time, but now I'm going through photos of Andrew's 21st (which are well overdue).

Down below is a photo of my boss and the owner of Goodtime, Gail Austen, post mctwist, at GT. This was an unused shot from some piccies I took for upcoming exhibition at the Brisbane museum relating to the skate history of Brisbane, a history Gail basically forged.

She started the Qld Skate association, brought in riders such as Hosoi, Roksopp and Hawk for demo's through Bris and comps down south, legalised the skating of Shopping Centre car parks for Members of the QSA (i wish this was still the case) and was the first importer of Vans to this fine country.

this freak is a creative lass! if you've ever browsed her blog you would surely be aware of what I'm talking about. She also smells similar to a fart from a 4 month old corpse, which from reading her blog, you would probably be unaware of.





as you may also be aware, she's got a severe addiction to bubblegum ice cream

The Scare's Last Show

I'd never seen these guys play live before and I'd also never heard their music or the existence of this band before last Saturday but i must admit, i wish I'd gotten into them earlier as they know how to play a good show. Their music is not a style i'd jump at but regardless of genre, after experiencing their show, respect is well due! it's a shame it was their last show :(
