I just had a furious time on facebook conversing via photos and ended up with some photos i just uploaded to there so i'm putting them on here now. Will and I are in Aguas Calientes, to wake up in 3 hours time to climb Machu Picchu. The gates open at 5 but we're planning on bribing the gate keeper at 4ish to let us in before the tour busses are allowed up, we're going to hike up and hopefully not get clouded out... Being that its the rainy season apparently you can get unlucky and see nothing at all but that doesn't really matter, i'll just be taking the same photo everyone else has for he last hundred years but I'd love to be up there before the rest of the gringos, I need that serenity. Although now Im cooked after being distracted and will now only get 2 hours sleep but that is fine, hopefully you enjoy these photos.
these are from Peru, mostly today's journey from Cusco so Agues Calientes but some others mixed in
Lake Titicaca! haven't looked through any form this day apart from this one, i'm excited by them though :D
some misc inca ruins as per our lunch restaurant's view
inside the lunch place
from outside the lunch place
inside the lunch place, it seemed that everywhere i pointed the light was nice, i can't get over the eye light on this one
poorly portraying the most insane river/water movements i've ever witnessed
south american men love to stare...
one of the very few cats i've seen this whole journey and easily the cleanest
typical homeless mut pose
the magazine filled her face so nicely, this scene was nice as it was a break away from the cold gringo/tourist reality of Aguas Calientes, the access point to Machu Picchu
Gabe Gwynne at Collingrove last year, I need to go skateboarding, I've only got a little sanity left and I'm running out of skate photos on my computer.
