Shredosode 6 - My new Hood

I made another skate vid woooo! It's shot entirely in my new hood, which i moved to recently due to me being broke and the parents not being broke/parental generosity and all in all it's been a sick move! from the skate perspective especially as i was getting pretty bored of New Farm but Bulimba is substantially better and more enjoyable!!!!!!! And for life its also sick because now i'm not broke and don't have to fret due general life qualms like bills and food.

anyway i shot this on a gopro and when mitch came we had two so we got some pretty funky angles, this is definitely the bottom benchmark for all shredosodes to come and id love to be bother to make them pretty with colours and filters but for now i dont care enough..

i hope you enjoy, if not the footage, the song

what did i do?!

aaafhhhfhfaaaarrrrrrrrrout. These holidays have been pretty silly in so many ways and now that it's over I'm in a total state of finedness without any real qualms about having to go back to uni.. mainly because my uni degree is a joke and the notion of spare time is so much more exciting (and rewarding) since I began this course and yes, I realise that 3 weeks ago I was on the brink of mind explosion to a roof spattering degree...

but regardless of all of this nonsense these I've been lucky enough to have scored a sick holiday and the final days (this weekend just passed) have been pretty spectacular too... these shots below are from after the post I shot and then a drive I took with a friend up to Mount Glorious, as the name suggest and the pictures may not, it was glorious (as will the first time i skate down it in the near future)

I'm about to start editing a video that Mitch and i filmed on monday arvo of us skating around bulimba, it could be pretty fun.

here is a frame grab from Mitch's camera.

I photographed another post on Saturday and it took me well and truly into the sticks (King Scrub to give it a name) and more specifically to a 3,500 hectare horse place that is pretty far out of town and down a rather long dirt road. I eventually arrived to the greeting of a marquee, some chairs, a few lights and a lake.. Unfortunately I was on time because it was an hour and a half before anyone arrived but it was fine because I had an explore and a nap before doing aforementioned deeds. It was a pretty fun night in hindsight and I got to have a sweet explore, I just wish the 4am air didn't fog over my lens because there was some pretty stuff out there...
